Are Dogs Allowed on the Beach in the UAE ?
Dubai Islands Beach, near Deira
Open to families and their fur kids, Dubai Islands Beach is near to Centara Mirage Beach Resort and Riu Dubai. FREE to access 24/7, theirs plenty of facilities and activities to make a fun packed day out. Your four-legged kid can splash away in the sea but remember to follow the beaches rules and be considerate of others.
Palm West Beach, The Palm Jumeirah
One of our favourite places in Dubai, Palm West Beach has you spoilt for choice if you’re looking for a doggy date with your pup. Most restaurants along the beach are dog friendly, but please remember they are on their lead at all times and don’t go for a swim in the sea.
Al Hamra Beach, Ras Al Khaimah
An oasis set along the Arabian Gulf; Al Hamra Beach is the perfect place to relax with your dog. Not far from Dubai, you can find Al Hamra Marina and Yacht Club and their dog friendly restaurants Muse Social House and the Club House. Kite Beach, Umm Al Quwain (UAQ)
Kite Beach has something for everyone, including your dog. Head out for a day of relaxation or embark on a fun packed day of water sports. Your pooch can swim in the sea, just make sure you follow any rules. There is a charge to visit Kite Beach, but we highly recommend it!
Barracuda Beach Resort, Umm Al Quwain (UAQ)
If you’re looking for more than just a day out at the beach, Barracuda Beach Resort in UAQ is the perfect place for a doggy get away. Remember to keep your dogs safe on the beach! Some beaches allow your dogs to be off-leash, which is great, however, it’s important to bare in mind your dog may get excited and run off. That’s why having a collar or harness on your dog at all times ( whether on leash or off leash ) is important. You should always have a pet ID tag on your dog’s harness or collar with your contact information on. You can find ours here.
