When we lost our cat in Dubai, we knew we needed to help other pet parents!
Our story started when we lost Moo, our indoor rescue cat in Dubai.
Help to find a missing pet in the UAE didn’t exist apart from posting on social media. We knew finding him would be difficult, but we couldn’t give up on our cat son!
There’s no central or national microchip database in the UAE! Because of this, when a dog or cat is found in Dubai, the vets send out an email to all vets, trying to get a match on the dog’s microchip number or cat’s microchip number.
That’s when we started thinking, how can we come up with a solution to bridge this gap and help other pet parents in their time of need!
How can we create a central platform to help others when their dog or cat is missing in the UAE or a pet has been found in the UAE.
Our pet safety app is helping unite the pet community in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain.
With an instant alert system, everyone in our pet community knows when a pet is lost or found in the UAE, regardless of what day or time it is.

Meet the Founders
I’ve been living in Dubai since 2012, and decided to start Where My Paws At during the most difficult time in my life. We thought of the idea for Where My Paws At many years ago when Moo went missing, but it was only after losing my dad, that I decided to do something meaningful and to try and help others. My love for animals goes back as far as I can remember. I’ve always had cats and dogs from being a baby. Now I’m a proud (and paranoid) pet mum to Lola, Frank, Moo, Bruce and Little P.
I’ve been an expat in Dubai for over 15 years and I’m the pet dad to the Fur Execs. When I met Carlie, she already had a rescue cat called Moo. He very quickly became my best pal and cuddle buddy. It was a horrible experience when he went missing and we felt helpless trying to find him. Our app can help others in their time of need, but is also a safe inclusive space for all pet parents looking for a genuine pet loving community.
