As part of our ongoing animal welfare mission in the UAE, we’re supporting local rescuers and charities, to help spread awareness and help rescue cats in need of a forever home. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT A SHELTER AND DO NOT TAKE IN ANIMALS.
Individual rescuers and organisations work tirelessly to help cats in the UAE. Without their work, these cats would not have a second chance of happiness.
Please remember, any pet is a lifelong commitment. Some of these cats have been neglected, abandoned, mistreated or left to survive on their own. If you decide to adopt a cat, please keep in mind they will need time and your patience to settle into their new home and surroundings. If you are a first time pet parent, you can find more information here to help you choose the right fur kid for your family.
If you choose to adopt a cat in the UAE, remember, you need to have funds to care for them. Cats can live up to 15+ years. They require vet visits, some may require regular grooming, and they will need to be cared for should you travel. You must commit to relocating them with you should you leave the UAE which can be costly, so please make sure you have funds set aside when the time comes to leave the UAE.
Where My Paws At supports TNR (Trap Neuter Return) across Dubai. Our #NeuterNovember campaign saw the start of TNR efforts, however, we can’t do this without your support. There are estimated to be thousands of cats on the streets, and without TNR, the cat populations will continue to grow, resulting in more needless suffering for cats and kittens. If you would like to help, you can support these cats by purchasing our TNR E-Certificates which pay for neutering and spaying in Dubai.
