The Pet Industry Awards 2023

On Friday 10^th November we attended the much-anticipated Pet Industry Awards in Dubai. After 9 months of launching Where My Paws At, to win runner up for ‘Favourite Newcomer’ is amazing and such an achievement for me.

When I launched Where My Paws At, I faced some resistance from people that didn’t get it, or people that didn’t trust my authenticity, mission, and goals within the pet industry. Winning this award validates my business and proves what we’re building and what we’re doing is truly starting to make a difference.

In under 12 months, we have nearly 1,000 pets and parents using our app. We’ve reunited 31 lost pets and sold over 400 smart pet tags, with another smart safety product launching before the end of this year! I’ve recently launched our new found feature on our website, for everyone to use and help reunite a cat or dog they find.

The number of pets missing in the UAE seems to be growing and our pet safety app is needed, now more than ever. We’re the first pet safety app in the UAE helping to protect pets and their pet parents when the unimaginable happens. We’re more than just another pet microchip platform and smart pet tag. We use smart technology, which is simple and easy to use and we’re building a community of pet-loving, like-minded people who want to protect their pets and change animal welfare in the UAE.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing pet partners that have been supporting me from the start and continue to support me as we grow. I’d also like to thank you, for your continued support and trust when it comes to your four-legged friends.
