Kasturi reached out to me on Instagram a few months ago and asked if I’d be interested in being a guest on her new podcast. In true Carlie style, my self-doubt immediately kicked in and started to doubt myself. Why me? Can I sit and talk in front of a camera and not completely freeze! My mantra over the last 2 years has been – if you don’t try, you’ll never know. You have to get comfortable outside of your comfort zone. So I took a leap of faith and decided to dip my toe in the world of podcasts!
Recording Our First Ever Podcast
The day of recording arrived. I was so nervous at the thought of doing a podcast and didn’t know what to expect. I’ve done interviews with the lovely Helen Farmer on Dubai Eye when we first launched the app and with Talk FM, but this was different. This was 30ish minutes of opening up about the start of Where My Paws At, discussing topics and issues that resonate with many but are hard to convey on social media posts.
